Every day will be filled with learning and laughter, story and silence, personal and communal growth, music and magic.
Please describe a day at the first week retreat After breakfast we begin our day with 15-20 minutes of deeply ecumenical spiritual practice, including song, poetry, prayer, and silence. Participants are welcome to lead. We then immerse ourselves in learning stories and refining storytelling skills. Lunch is followed by sacred time, with time for you to walk the labyrinth, journal, do homework, or take a nap. Late afternoon offers more learning, followed by dinner, and an evening session which ends around 8:30.
I would like to have a double room in order to save money but do not know any of the other participants. We will be happy to match you with a participant of the same gender if there is one available.
I have food allergies. Will I go hungry? Please advise us of any allergies and we will pass on the information. Meals will consist of multiple vegetarian options with a fish option at some meals. If you require gluten-free or alternative milk products, please let us know.
Can I pay by credit card? Yes... ...through PayPal (you will need your own PapPal account for this option) But if you pay by check, you win a big place in our hearts :>)
