They say that G!d made human beings because G!d loves stories. Elie Wiesel
Please describe a day at the first week retreat Our days will start with deeply ecumenical interfaith prayer time. After breakfast we will immerse ourselves in learning stories and refining storytelling skills. Lunch each day will be followed by sacred time - time for you to walk the labyrinth, journal, do homework, or take a nap. Afternoons will be spent again in learning, followed by dinner and a lovely evening surprise.
Where is the information about the year of mentorship and the final retreat week? We will announce prices, times, and details during the first retreat. Students must be at the first week in order to sign up for the full year. At the final week retreat you will have the chance to present your story project to the students and teachers for feedback and appreciation.
What is included in the full year of mentorship? • 4 online classes with your cohort (using a Zoom classroom) of 1 1/2- 2 hours with staff and guest teachers. • 8 one hour individual meetings with your mentor to work on the story project that you choose for the year.
I would like to have a double room in order to save money but do not know any of the other participants. We will be happy to match you with a participant of the same gender if there is one available.
I have food allergies. Will I be able to eat at the Franciscan Center? Please advise us of any allergies and we will pass on the information. Meals will consist of multiple vegetarian options with a fish option at some meals. If you require gluten-free or alternative milk products, please let us know.
Can I pay by credit card? Yes! Through PayPaI. But if you pay by check, you win a big place in our hearts :>)
Every day will be filled with learning and laughter, story and silence, personal and communal growth, music and magic.
